Of American interest. Historic vintage original oil on canvas mounted on board behind glass, signed by the artist Alex Leonard circa 1940.  The picture depicts a pair of Spitfire aircraft in mid-flight.  Fuselage markings AV on the aircraft denote the RAF No. 121 Squadron.  This squadron was an RAF squadron that operated during the Second World War 1941-42 and was one of the three Eagle Squadrons manned by American volunteers. Re-mounted and re-framed in modern high quality white frame.
